- Cover your tracks
If you fear that someone will know you've seen this site. Make sure you follow these instructions:
You need to delete this site from the History folder.
- If you use Internet Explorer:
Select “View” then “Explorer Bar” then “History” from the options at the top of the screen.
A new window will open where you can see which pages you have viewed today. (Clicking on the underlined day to expand the
list). For each page you want hidden simply click the right button over it and select delete. Make sure this is the last
step you take or the pages you view after doing this will not be deleted. If you want to make it look like you haven’t
been on the internet at all then delete “Today”
- If you use Netscape, Mozilla or Firefox:
Select “Go” then “History” from the options at the top of the page. A new window will open where you
can see which pages you have viewed today. (Clicking on the + will expand the list) For each page you want hidden simply
select and press delete. Make sure this is the last step you take or the pages you view after doing this will not be deleted.
If you want to make it look like you haven’t been on the internet at all then delete “Today”.
