Employability & Life Skills

Breaking Barriers.

Building Skills.

Bridging Pathways.

We support people of all ages to gain practical skills, build confidence, and take positive next steps.

Our employability and life skills programmes are designed for individuals who may face barriers such as long-term unemployment, financial hardship, low confidence, or limited access to opportunity.

Through practical workshops, mentoring, and real-world experience, we help people build resilience, develop skills, and move forward with confidence.

What We Offer

Our programmes combine hands-on learning with structured support, including:

• Work-readiness and employability sessions
• Communication and teamwork development
• Confidence-building and goal setting
• Enterprise-style projects and group initiatives
• Volunteering pathways and peer-support roles
• Creative life skills workshops

We focus on practical outcomes and long-term progression.

Who It’s For

We support young people, adults, and older individuals who may be:

• Experiencing long-term unemployment
• Facing low confidence or social anxiety
• Managing health or financial challenges
• Feeling isolated or disconnected
• Looking to build skills before moving into work or volunteering

Our programmes are flexible, inclusive, and responsive to individual circumstances.

Pathways & Progression

Our programmes are designed to connect.

Some people join at the start of their journey. Others move on to further training, volunteering, or employment support. Many return to take on peer-support or leadership roles.

We focus on steady progression, helping people move forward at their own pace, with the right support around them.

Real Stories. Real Progress.

How confidence can grow into opportunity.

“Before coming to the sessions, I’d lost a lot of confidence and hadn’t done anything social for quite some time. The support I received helped me reconnect, build my confidence again, and take a step forward. I’m now running my own creative classes, which I never would have imagined before.”
– Workshop Participant
“I wasn’t sure where to start and felt overwhelmed about getting back into work. The workshops helped me build practical skills and feel more prepared. I’ve now moved into volunteering and feel ready to take the next step towards employment.”
– Employability Participant
“I joined to improve my confidence, but I ended up gaining so much more. Through the programme I developed communication skills and started supporting others in the group. It’s helped me realise I have something valuable to offer”
